The Jaxon Keys Coro offers a unique view into how the artistry of blending and the terroir of Mendocino bond to produce a stellar wine. Crafted by hand and blended with artistry in mind, this wine was aged in French oak barrels for 18 months and bottled unfined.
In 2000, a group of Mendocino County Winemakers joined together to create America’s first region-specific wine governed by fixed blending and aging paramenters. This ultra-premium wine blend would showcase the most expressive heritage varietal of Mendocino County: Zinfandel. The name “Coro” (meaning chorus in Italian and Spanish) refers to the collaboration between winemakers to create harmonic blends while each maintaining a unique style.
