This nicely balanced Cabernet is all about luscious dark fruit, starting with aromas of blackberry preserves, cassis and plum with traces of anise and oak. A bright, lightly spiced palate reveals fresh-picked huckleberry, black currant and boysenberry. As the wine opens, Morello cherry and hints of cedar plank join in to add dimension. Supple tannins and integrated oak notes appear as the wine finishes and lingers on.
Enjoy a pairing of roasted duck breast with pecan purée, or pork ragu with wild mushrooms over fresh-made tagliatelle.
